Kyle Crum Joins Momenta as Venture Partner

We are pleased to announce that Kyle Crum has joined Momenta as our newest Venture Partner, expanding our focus on Industrial Impact® with deep manufacturing expertise and strategic technology insights. 

Kyle brings nearly two decades of leadership at the intersection of industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, and technology strategy. As Executive Director of Loosestrife Acquisitions and former Director of Advanced Technology at Rockwell Automation, Kyle has led global R&D teams and spearheaded investments in transformative manufacturing ventures. His career blends innovation and service, with senior roles at Alcoa and the U.S. Navy demonstrating operational rigor and leadership. 

“Kyle strengthens our industrial sourcing and due diligence capabilities and provides deep guidance for our founders. His background in technology strategy, industrial operations and strategy aligns perfectly with our hands-on, practitioner-led model,” said Ken Forster, Founding Partner at Momenta. 

Kyle’s expertise spans the full spectrum of industrial innovation, from scaling advanced manufacturing ventures to mentoring the next generation of industrial leaders. He holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a certificate in technology strategy from MIT. He is an active board member and mentor in the sector. His hands-on approach and commitment to bridging strategy with execution make him a powerful addition to Momenta’s mission. 

At Momenta, Kyle will focus on sourcing and technical due diligence, working closely with our investment team to identify and support the next generation of industrial innovators. His proven track record in operational excellence and strategic investment will help accelerate our portfolio’s growth and impact.
