Xage Expands Leadership Team with Norm Thorlakson

Momenta Partners is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed an SVP Sales & Business Development search for Xage, with the appointment of Norm Thorlakson.

Norm was most recently Global General Manager and Line of Business Head for software businesses at Schneider Electric, running a $300m+ P&L. He has also held executive sales positions at Invensys Operations Management and at Wonderware.

Momenta Partners is the top retained Executive Search firm, placing exceptional, strategic talent and teams for Fortune 500 leaders and venture-backed innovators. We have successfully completed Board, CEO, CTO, COO, EVP, SVP, VP and Director searches across all functions, within all major vertical markets, and in every continent.

Founded in 2016. Xage has developed a blockchain-protected security platform for Industrial IoT. Its first release was its foundational security fabric, distributing identity and authentication for industrial operations at the edge. The company recently released a systemic tamper-proofing technology, using digital fingerprinting, to extend tamper-proofing across IIoT operations, industrial controllers, and devices for the first time. With the increasing frequency and consequence of cyberattacks on mission critical systems, the impetus to protect industrial organizations and national infrastructure is greater than ever.

According to Jonathan Moulton, Managing Partner of Momenta Partners' Talent practice: "We expect Norm’s executive sales leadership, domain expertise and contact base to quickly add significant value to Xage’s business and to Momenta’s recent equity investment in Xage."

“Our mission is to secure the interactions between people, devices and applications to enable decentralized, automated and improved operations for global industry,” said Norm Thorlakson, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Xage. “I’m looking forward to expanding Xage’s portfolio of customers across industries and geographies, driving operational improvements, activating IIoT networks with distributed and connected devices, and supporting the further development of the major industries that will benefit from this technology.”
