Edging Toward Blockchain

As we move into a new year, 2018 is the start of new expansions in Digital Industry. A recent report by ABI Research shows that the positive impact of smart city technologies on economic development could see cities driving more than $20 trillion in additional economic benefits over the coming decade. HPE, PTC and Wind River have agreed to have their platforms assessed by the IoT M2M Council which represents 25,000 enterprise users and OEMs that buy IoT solutions. Security remains prevalent with smart speakers acting as gateways to hackers with researchers finding thousands of exposed Sonos and Bose speakers.
